Hanging out in Beijing

Yesterday, I arrived at Beijing I went on a bus I saw the 2008 Olympic Stadium it looks a birds nest.

Visited Ximen (West Gate) at Beijing Daxue (Peking University), a famous school in China. While there I made some new friends. They asked me my age and where I am from but they do not know North Reading but did know the USA. They can speak some English and I can speak some Chinese but their English is way better than my Chinese. They learn English in school everyday but I told them we don't learn Chinese in my school. I let them try my Red Sox caps they don't play baseball but do play soccer.

Also, I meet some other kids who also like to look at fish just as much as me! Peking University has a pond with HUGE Goldfish called Koi Fish

Sounds like you are having an awesome summer. I would love to visit China too but might not ever get there...so keep up the blogging!!

Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Hello Chadem: I saw the "birds nest" stadium as well when I visited Beijing. Isn't Beijing a fantastic city..... so many people! It sounds as though you are having a fantastic experience.
